One for the Geordies...
I have been asked to grow a Geoff from Byker Grove “mutton chips” beard and thought I might do it for charity.
This will raise money for the Newcastle West End Foodbank, this is the largest foodbank in the UK.
It is heavily dependent on the support of the NUFC Fans Foodbank, however as there is longer any match day income they are in dire need of donations. (newcastlewestend.foodbank.org.uk)
The Covid-19 crisis disproportionately affects poor people & poor areas, particularly in the north east of England where the infection rate & mortality rate is nightmarish.
Someone challenged me to do something daft, so I will!
