This winter will be a difficult time for people around the country. Sadly, Christmas seems destined to be unlike any we’ve known before. With the global pandemic forcing a further lockdown, our community is going to face even more economic and social hardship.
At Newcastle West End Food Bank the figures are stark: 1100 people fed each week April to September 2020- 210% increase on same period last year. 26,143 people fed since April - 40% are children.
This winter Newcastle West End Food Bank is appealing for your support to tackle hunger and help people in their time of need.
